so our good friend kris, from across the street, is going to be joining us as a third guitarist. i know what you are thinking, we thought that as well. but kris RULES. he is super nice, super posi, a great guitarist, a great sound engineer. he knows his shit, he gets what we are doing and he makes us a better band. so how can you pass that up? he is picking everything up SUPER fast, i think the first day we played he learned 4 songs in an hour, which is amazing. so he is definitely going to be in full effect at the show on the 5th that we have coming up and hopefully every show after that.
writing is going really well, its cool to finally be able to get some solid vocal ideas down, because there is a lot we can do in that area. the three song demo that we are recording with kris is getting finished little by little. its hard with ryan living in chapel hill, but he is coming in tomorrow to track the bass. after that, just throw andy and kris on and get vocals finished up and its done. hopefully by the 16th show, we will hav some copies.
life is good, summer is breathing new life into my lungs, along with lots of pollen.
